CCR Recognized as One of the Fastest Growing Companies by CBJ

Cedar Rapids, IA 05-31-2018 – Circle Computer Resources (CCR) was recognized Wednesday evening at the Coralville Marriott as one of the Fastest Growing Companies by the Corridor Business Journal (CBJ) for the 2nd year in a row and the 6th year since the list has been started. This year, CCR took home 9th place overall, giving them their highest placement they have ever received (2017 – #18, 2015 – #22, 2014 – #17, 2013 – #11, 2012 – #15).

“We are honored to be acknowledged by the CBJ among other talented, Corridor-based businesses,” said Kate Nash, CCR’s Director of Marketing. “We see this recognition as a sign that we are serving a real need in the business community for smart, quality technology infrastructure services. We are thankful for the trust our clients have placed in us, and we couldn’t build that trust without the commitment of our team.”

The top 25 fastest growing companies in the corridor were invited to attend the event. To be eligible as one of the Fastest Growing Companies, companies must:

  • Have revenue of at least $350,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2015, 2016 & 2017
  • Show revenue growth in 2017, as compared to 2015
  • Be headquartered in Linn, Johnson, Washington, Benton, Jones, Cedar, Iowa, or Black Hawk counties
  • Be for-profit entities

Growth has been a major theme for CCR. Since 2015, the company has grown revenues 49% (2015-2016) and 32% (2016-2017). CCR has also expanded its workforce, going from 74 full-time employees in 2015 to 113 in 2018. In addition to being listed as a CBJ Fastest Growing Company, CCR has been recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the country every year since 2010, has placed in the top rankings of Managed Service Providers on the MSP 501 list, and has been certified as a national Great Place to Work for the past two years.
