Solutions
What is broadcast monitoring?
Broadcast monitoring involves the use of advanced tools and systems to oversee, evaluate, and manage broadcast content. We have the ability to monitor many types of distribution channels, including but not limited to OTA, cable/satellite, MVPD, and FAST.
Key signal quality monitoring components include resolution, bitrate, frame rate, errors, and discontinuities. For compliance, we are able to monitor closed captioning quality, parental ratings information, and overall loudness.
What is ACR?
ACR stands for Automated Content Recognition. ACR is a tool in our solutions that employs sophisticated algorithms to identify and analyze media content automatically. The two main methods that ACR uses to analyze content are through fingerprints and watermarks. If you have your own ACR technology, our engineers will implement that to work with our feeds and better integrate the data collection for your systems.
By using a managed help/support desk, you provide your team with a qualified team of technicians to contact for technical support. This not only eases the burden on internal resources when complex problems arise, but also reduces the downtime and expenses experienced when your team is prevented from doing their jobs.
What kind of SLAs and support does CCR offer?
SLAs, or Service Level Agreements, dictate the guaranteed uptime that our feeds need to maintain for you. We are able to engineer solutions to meet any SLAs you have, with services tiered to fit your needs. For support, our NOC is staffed 24/7, enabling faster support and resolution when issues arise.
Does CCR monitor live events?
Yes, we have an end-to-end solution that simplifies VOD and live event reference. Through our customized portal, clients can easily submit content requests and receive the fingerprints back quickly—even utilizing their own ACR technology in place of ours. An optional content catalog features information on metadata, platform availability, and popularity.
